1. Introduction

Hi there! Thanks for visiting TranscribeASong.com.

By using my website or ordering any transcription or arrangement service from me, you agree to the following terms. These are here to make sure everything is clear, fair, and smooth for both of us.

2. What I Do

I offer custom music transcription and arrangement services — turning audio or video recordings into written sheet music.

All work is done personally by me (no automation or outsourcing). Every project is quoted individually based on length, complexity, and request details.

3. How It Works

You send me your request (song, video, or audio link) via my contact form or email.
I review it and send you a quote and turnaround time.
Once you confirm and make payment, I start the transcription.
You’ll receive the finished sheet music in your chosen format (PDF, MuseScore, MusicXML, etc.).

4. Payments

All prices are quoted in USD (or as stated).
Payment is made upfront before I begin the work unless otherwise agreed.
I currently accept payments via the methods stated on my website or email communication.
Since every transcription is custom-made, work begins only after payment.

5. Revisions

My goal is for you to be 100% happy with your sheet music.

I offer unlimited minor revisions until you’re satisfied — this includes note corrections, formatting adjustments, or small tweaks to dynamics, articulations, etc.
Major revisions (e.g. changing key, instrumentation, or structure after delivery) may require an additional fee, depending on the scope.
All revision requests should be made within a reasonable time after delivery.

6. Turnaround Time

Delivery time depends on the complexity and length of your project. I always do my best to meet the estimated deadline, but in rare cases (illness, high workload, etc.), I’ll let you know right away if extra time is needed.

7. Copyright & Usage

You confirm that you have the right to share any audio or video material you send me.
I do not claim ownership of the original music you submit.
Once full payment is received, you can use the delivered transcription for your own personal, educational, or performance use.
You may not resell or redistribute my transcriptions without permission.
I may feature short previews (a few bars or screenshots) in my portfolio unless you request otherwise.

8. Refund Policy

Because every transcription is a custom service, refunds are not available once I’ve started working on your order.

If for some reason I can’t complete your request, I’ll issue a full refund.

If you cancel before I start, I’ll refund your payment minus any processing fees.

9. Communication

All project details and revision requests must be made via email or the platform where the order was placed. Clear communication helps ensure your transcription matches your expectations.

10. Limitation of Liability

I’ll always strive for accuracy and professionalism, but please note:

I can’t be held responsible for any issues that arise from how you use the sheet music (e.g., performance errors, copyright disputes, etc.).
My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific project.

11. Privacy

Your files, music, and personal information will always be kept confidential and used only to complete your order.

12. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms occasionally. The latest version will always be available on this page. If you continue to use my website or services after any updates, it means you accept the revised terms.
